Site Description

The Sammy Ng Family web site is a special interest site for the Doerr and Ng families that are outside the Washington, D.C. area. This site will keep the members of the families in touch with the Sammy Ng family by providing them with current up-to-date information about this family. The Web site will provide the members of the Ng and Doerr families outside the Washington, D. C. area with: 1) current happenings and special events in the Sammy Ng family; 2) capability to keep in touch with the Sammy Ng family on a frequent basis; and 3) family bonding through sharing experiences.

Feature Article - Ng Family Vacation: The Ng family spent an enjoyable vacation at Table Rock Lake in southern Missouri with the Doerr clan. Many relaxing hours were spent boat riding, water skiing, swimming, shopping and eating. A good time was had by all.

Family News!!

Empty Nest Symptoms!! In 2002, Karen, Stephen, and Jason will be in college. This leaves Dela and Sammy home alone. How will they cope after having children in the house for over 23 years? Dela is expecting to retire in August 2002 after 33 years with the Federal Government. Any suggestions for filling the void? How have the rest of the Doerr and Ng families survived? We currently are looking to take cooking classes and maybe get in the groove with Swing Dancing.

College Decisions Well! It is that time again for another Ng to apply for colleges. Jason is on the verge of applying to colleges. He is interested in engineering; so, he is applying to technical schools. Will he decide to stay in Virginia or go to Maryland? Only time will tell!

One Accord CD: The One Accord Acapella Group at William and Mary cuts its first CD called "In Gratitude". Stephen, who is president of this group, is really excited about this accomplishment. The group hopes to promote this CD at its college concerts and in churches in the Williamburg area. Be sure to let Stephen know if you would to have a really great CD for your listening pleasure.
